pyVAMDC (https://github.com/VAMDC/pyVAMDC) is the reference entry point to the VAMDC e-infrastructure. It abstracts the federated query layer — node registry, species resolution by InChIKey, wavelength-bounded line extraction, and RADEX collisional datasets — into a uniform interface, exposed both as an importable python library and as a command-line tool for scripted or agent-driven use. Results are normalized into analysis-ready tables and cached locally, so that heterogeneous VAMDC nodes can be treated as a single queryable resource in reproducible astrophysical and astrochemical pipelines.
