VAMDC has developed interoperability with the IVOA through using its protocol SAMP (http://www.ivoa.net/documents/SAMP/) from the VAMDC portal. Indeed once the spectroscopic data are visualized through the Processors called « Molecular Spectroscopy XSAMS to HTML » and « Atomicxsams2HTML », a selection of data can sent via a VOTable to any VO Tools such as TOPCAT (http://www.star.bris.ac.uk/~mbt/topcat/). Therefore astronomers using VO tools can import easily spectroscopic data from VAMDC databases.
