VAMDC from CASSIS
The Paris Observatory team has collaborated for a long time with the CASSIS team. Thanks to tutorials and to exchange of pieces of software the CASSIS team has itself developed access to VAMDC databases from its interface.
The CASSIS uses the VAMDC software SPECTCOL in order to create files combining collisional data from the BASECOL database and spectroscopic data from the JPL and the CDMS databases. Those combined information is then
included in the local database that is included in their released software.
CASSIS software has been used by the HERSCHEL mission and is widely used by the interstellar medium community.
