Python NodeSoftware
The VAMDC NodeSoftware is used to provide atomic and/or molecular data as a node within the VAMDC infrastructure, thereby providing access to the data in accord with the VAMDC standards.
The NodeSoftware is built upon the Django web framework which in turn is based upon the Python programming language. It runs within a webserver and delivers the data from a relational database. The figure below gives a schematic overview of the necessary ingredients and the operation. Continue to
